An otolaryngologist is a doctor who treats diseases of the ear, throat and nose. More often he is called an ENT doctor (this is an abbreviation of the Latin words Larynx (larynx) Otos (ear) and Rhinos (nose). The reason why these three bodies were united in one the medical specialty is very simple: the infection has the habit of wandering from nose to ear, and from throat to nose, so that it is more reasonable to treat everything in a complex.
