Foreign experts: the latest variants of the Omicron strain show new symptoms

In a few days the autumn season will begin. In cold weather, people naturally spend most of their time in closed buildings and structures. Plus, it's a new school year. Children return to schools, students to universities.

All this is a favorable environment for the widespread spread of coronavirus infection. Therefore, experts fear that in the coming months the number of infected people in the world may increase even more.

Under such conditions, doctors provide enriched information about the main symptoms of the disease, characteristic of the currently dominant strains of "omicron".

In particular, only in Russia, about 93% of those registered with a diagnosis of COVID-19 have symptoms of sub-variants B.A.4 and B.A.5. At the same time, there are those infected with the "centaur" among the sick.

Coughing and loss of smell are no longer the main symptoms of coronavirus, experts say. That is, it has been repeatedly proven that the disease can pass without these signs, or even without any symptoms at all.

So what is it?

Scientists believe that most of the world's population has been vaccinated or previously infected with the virus. After that, the appearance of antibodies in the body causes a change in the symptoms of the disease.

There is some good news about this as well. For example, according to doctors' forecasts, the health of patients can now be restored in 2-3 days even without special treatment.
